I love this set of implements. I really just needed the darning eggs and some new yarn needles so the other pieces were a bonus. I got a very cut pincushion- a pastel floral pattern that is much prettier than the carrots in the picture. I only wish the weaving piece had better instructions. I get what it is supposed to do but I am not sure I understand exactly how it works. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet but I will definitely need to find some videos on how it works.

I still darn our socks; we have wool socks, and they are worth darning. I got this wondering what designs I would like to put on our socks...well, so far, all I've done is just regular darning. I think trying something a little out of my comfort zone will be good for my soul, or sole...all kidding aside, when you buy quality socks you should take care of them, and the fact that you can leave a little bit of your personality on them, is even better.
