A must-have for anyone who likes boiled eggs. Follow the water markings on the cup for the desired hardness of egg and you can make perfectly cooked eggs without having to time and guess about the firmness or softness of your eggs. Hate that grey color on hard-boiled eggs left a minute too long in the water? Not with this little eggy wonder. A loud musical chime tells you when the eggs are ready. I typically boil a dozen eggs each week. Sometimes they don't get eaten right away so they spoil. With this new cooker, I can quickly make 1-6 eggs. The best part is the shell comes off easily! I like the loud song it plays to tell you the cooker is done! It does not stop until you turn it off. It makes you pay attention, which is good so you don't forget to take them out and put them in ice water right away. The heating element does turn off automatically when the music starts to play which is also a great feature. (You do have to remove the egg shell before putting in the fridge, otherwise, there is water inside the shell.)

I love poached eggs but hate using so much water for one or two poached eggs, not to mention the time waiting for the water to boil. This little gizmo is such a convenience! Takes about two ounces of water and 5 minutes to get perfect soft boiled or poached eggs. No pans involved. It will also hard boil up to 7 eggs with a little more water and maybe 5 more minutes. They come out perfectly and easy to peel. And it's so little. Easily fits in a cabinet, but I just keep mine on the counter. Love the design too. I don't know why the beige one was so much more expensive than the other colors, but I took the plunge, and it looks quaint and unassuming sitting on my counter, totally belies the little powerhouse it is. Cleanup is simple, just sponge out the inside after use (who knew eggs weren't spotlessly clean out of the box?). I use distilled water in mine so there isn't the usual debris found in tap water accumulating. The two pans that come with it, one divided for poached eggs, the other for omelets, clean up easily too, but I don't put them in the dishwasher. There is also a little plastic handle you can twist into the center of the egg tray if you want to lift out a whole batch, but I seldom use it, preferring to use that center space for egg #7. Mine plays a little tune as soon as all the water has evaporated, which is the alert they are done. If you don't take them out immediately they continue to cook! I love this thing. Will be gifting several to my friends this holiday season!!

I really like this product, but the buzzer to alert you the eggs are done does not work. Good thing I kept checking on eggs because all the water evaporated and I’m not sure what would have happened if the unit stayed on well beyond water evaporation. Maybe I didn’t give the buzzer a chance to alert, but the eggs were done when I noticed the water base dry & shut down unit.

This is the coolest little device. I am a 70 year old woman who doesn't cook anymore. I was looking for a way to make eggs and when I saw this I knew I needed to give it a try. So glad I did. I went online and watched a couple of how to videos before I used it the first time. I've made the best scrambled eggs in it a couple of times now. It works exactly as the instructions say it will. Would for sure give it as a gift. The size is perfect for my little senior apartment. Looking forward to making soft boiled eggs and hard boiled eggs in it, too. I love it!
