This is not a large tray, useful for keeping small snacks, keys and other items accessible. The tray is made of soft rubber. The bottom has four little stickers that one can use to permanently stick the tray down. I did not want to use them, and the tray stay put anyway on the textured dash.

The dashboard of my vehicle is smooth fabric. While this tray would not easily slide on top of my dashboard, it would slide with very little force. Therefore, I secured it to my vehicle using a little double sided tape. The rubber liner that is in the tray is definitely non-slip as I am able to place small items on it without it sliding around the tray. I also don't like to use adhesives on my windshield and this was perfect solution to keep the FasTrak transponder in my vehicle. My favorite thing about the Veemoon Car Dashboard Non-Slip Tray is that the rubber liner can easily be lifted off for cleaning.
