I don’t know what else to say other than this really does work and doesn’t look too conspicuous. If you cut a hole enough to fit it, it’s quite an easy installation.

You can get a decent amount of cords through it if you put them through in the right order based on their plug size. Managed to get 2 HDMI, 2 cat5, and one fiber cable through it. Also the install time is under a minute since it latches right in which is a huge plus.

The Datacomm 1 3/4” Hole Saw Plate is perfect for my setup. I’m using it as a cable pass-through for the speaker wires on my rear channel surround sound speakers, and it works great. The black plate blends in nicely with the wall, and the design makes installation easy and clean. It’s sturdy, functional, and does exactly what I needed. Highly recommend for home theater setups!

Makes for a very nice looking pass thru for low voltage stuff like PoE and long USB charge cables for security cameras (my use for them), as well as speakers.I don't think they are flimsy at all despite some reviews' warnings. They're roughly the same build quality of plastic as most wall plates, so just make sure you have the hole drilled as required and that nothing is blocking the metal arms on the other side, like a piece of wood, and then be gentle with it, especially as you're tightening the last few turns on the screws. Just like any old wall plate in that respect. The company seems reliable too. Never heard of em before this plate, but apparently a lot of folks who are into speakers and cabling regard them well. Will definitely be looking at this and more of their products in the future.

I placed this in an existing wall to accept 2 data/ethernet cables and 1 RG6 coaxial. There is plenty of room left for more cables of the same basic diameter but, crowding the opening might defeat to purpose of the brush guard. The measurement of the device is probably EXACT which meant, using the 2" hole saw and bit that I had required a little bit of shaving the circumference of the opening in order to install. After placing in the wall however, product works perfectly!

This is exactly what I was looking for. It's the smallest pass through wall plate I could find and it was extremely easy to install. It's significantly smaller than a normal wall plate or any other pass through plate or even wall grommet which makes it perfect for hiding behind sound bars and other small electronics.A 1 3/4" hole saw, as specified in the instructions, was the perfect size to install this. If you use the proper size hole saw and still have issues installing it it's because you're doing it wrong. Back off the screws, push them flush to the face plate and then fold the ears in until they're flush with the circular lip on the backside. The wall plate will then slide right in and you'll even have some room to spare.Don't overnighten the screws either. Just snug them up. You only want to stop the wall plate from moving. As for capacity, don't expect more than 3-4 cables to squeeze through it. Hdmi cables in particular will have trouble squeezing through once there are a couple of cables already in there.

(Item: DATA COMM Electronics 45-0006-WH Hole Saw Plate - White)(UPDATE): 03/12/23I found these on Amazon by Monoprice (a brand I’m familiar with). They’re virtually identical. Though prices change all the time, on average these usually cost less.Monoprice Hole Saw Plate:https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-118653-Hole-Saw-Plate/dp/B072BCKMQR/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8(ORIGINAL REVIEW):This mini wall mount is almost perfect. It’s just big enough for 3 wires and hides nicely behind whatever electronics you’re mounting to the wall. The wings on the back fasten well to drywall and hold the plate securely in place. And, it can be removed if needed (in case you need to change wires). I love it, except that it’s expensive. It should fairly be priced somewhere between $8-$9.It’s unfortunate as there are hardly any alternatives for a wall plate of this quality in this size. When buying for just one room, you won’t even think twice about the cost. But, when you’re buying for four (or more) rooms, you suddenly realize how expensive this piece is compared to other wall plates. While I would have loved to use these in multiple places in multiple rooms, these are a little too expensive for that ($13 at the time of the review) .Again, it’s a good quality wall mount plate and very easy to install. Just wish there was more competition in this size range.

Just what I needed and hoped it would be. This is plate is small, attractive and very easy to see that is a quality product and very well made. Just make sure you follow the instructions and run the cable/s through the plate before actually installing it on the wall. I used it to hide a couple cables coming out of a sound bar I wall mounted. The wall plate completely disappeared behind the sound bar and giving me a very clean uncluttered installation. Even if the plate remains visible the black polished finish is attractive and a great cable management solution when wanting to hide 1 or 2 cables.
