This book has so much valuable information that’s in layman’s terms. I really love that aspect of the book because there are so many books that are way too technical for me. Delivery was quick and the book arrived in excellent condition.

I got the paperback version as I had concerns in navigating its Kindle download (e-reader instruction books always seem to be pain in that regard). I’m just getting back into photography & read the Canon Owners Manual online before purchasing the camera just to see if I had any clue as to what I was getting myself into. It didn’t take long to realize I needed this book & am glad I got it. Although a tad wordy the book is fantastic for clear cut explanations on the myriad of things the Canon does. As a suggestion I recommend reading the book in its progression & not jump all over from chapter to chapter as you’ll end up getting confused. The book is laid out sequentially and eventually all your questions will be answered. Just be patient. Overall a great book for new owners.

Great book but long winded in places and could be a little clearer in others. Haven't read the whole book yet but what I have read covers a lot of the basics and tricks of the trade!

The book is written in clear prose and will be of help for both the photographer and the video maker. Busch takes you through the setup into more advanced techniques the SL2 gives you privy to.

I like the way this book is laid out. Easy to read, good graphics and very useful for a novice like me. It has really helped me understand and use my camera more effectively

Lots of great information here. The writing, I feel, needs some serious editing. It is unnecessarily wordy and tests my patience. Still, because this camera is like a super-computer, it's nice to have a resource with larger photos to supplement the included camera manual. I'm not sure yet about how the information is organized and will probably have more to say after I fully digest it.

Received in 2 days, live in the same state as David. Also surprise I ordered on Amazon thru the author and received an Autographed Copy, that was nice. This book is packed full of useful information regarding the proper usage of the camera for successful photos and videos.I had a Dummies book on my last camera this to me, is way better. I am a professional photographer and still interested in the workings of my new camera.

Great book, lots of very helpful, good information. I would highly recommend this book, it's great for your SL2. Considering the massive amount of setting and options the camera has, I've been waiting for a "good" guide book to finally come out so I could learn more about my camera.

The David Busch's Canon Sl2 book is very concise and allows the reader to access quickly the topics needed to learn how to use and enjoy each part and feature of the camera. This is a wonderful reference and is highly recommended.
