I have owned one of these for the last several years. I just bought this one for my son. It is perfect when you want to pack into a small creek and you don’t wanna pack more than you need. The foam holds the flies good in the clear box helps to see what’s in there. I keep mine on the lanyard.

I really don't know what you can improve on here. It's perfect. It's clear, comes with 3 adhesive fly holder strips, and comes with a short piece of strong monofilament line to loop through the case and clip to your waders, a belt loop, or whatever. Maybe get a small carabiner too so you can quickly attach and unattach the box? It hold enough dry flies, hoppers, nymphs, or whatever to trout fish for the day. It's probably inadequate if you want to carry a lot of big saltwater flies or something along those lines but they make another version for that too. This thing is simple and effective and made in 'Murica too. Built by people who actually fish. Strongly recommend.

I keep all of my midge nymphs in here. Great box for a river specific assortment (all your favorite flies for a specific river), or if you want one box for all of your small stuff (18's and lower, but larger will flies work too). The box is about the size of the average guys wallet (stuffed to the brim). The box closes solid, floats, and is durable enough to survive several seasons worth of use. My fist cliff box was a Super-Day's Worth, I purchases back in 2008 (i think, its been a while), I still use it on every trip, and it functions great. Well though out, durable, reasonably priced fly boxes. Don't hesitate, just buy it.

This is a great fly box. Sturdy, well made and easy to view your flies. Nothing fancy. Just a great, American made fly fishing accessory. Buy one. You won't be sorry.

I own one of these boxes, and it is incredible. I do mostly small fly fly fishing on the San Juan and other rivers so I have lots of tiny size 20 and smaller midges and baetis patterns. This box is clear, easy to see into and in the wind the fly's stay put. I highly recommend this box for any angler who fishes small fly's. Unlike the tack it box, Cliff's Days Worth has multiple black foam strips to also hold your dry fly's. This is a great combination in a small package that fits in your shirt pocket.

I have one of these, and am buying another. They fit in a shirt pocket (or in a 5.56 ammo pouch), which my big boxes don't.I also like the magnetic bottom, so you don't have to worry about your little flies coming loose.
