It cuts very quickly and easily. However, the edge is a little sharp. The photo of the red can is misleading. The photo of the blue can is accurate. I would not drink from a can opened with this device. But this is great for making grease cans.

I needed something to cut both the bottom and top off of the cans to make them more manageable. This wasn't exactly what I was looking for. But if you want to remove can tops, it's perfect.

It works great for crafting to reap the tin from the can, leaves a slightly sharp edge. Very compact. I've probably ripped 50 can tops off. No problem seen yet.

My husband wanted this item for Christmas. I ordered it two weeks before Christmas and arrived one and a half weeks after Christmas so obviously missed the holiday...oh well. I gave it to him and he used it right away. It takes the top off and leaves a very sharp top to drink out of it. Definitely not something you want to do! There seem to be other brands out there that leave a smooth top that would actually be safe to use. Don't get this one!

Leaves sharp edge. Does not cut the inside of the top like I was expecting. It cuts the whole top off.
