EASY TO USE
Lay bench pad flat on a clean, dry, and dust/dirt free working area and position your workpiece in center of bench pad.
When using, remember to maintain constant downward pressure on your tool and bench pad and keep tools and bits away from the pad.

Works ok. When sanding the mat slides on the bench. Sawdust attracts to it as well. Not any better then the carpet pad we’ve been using.

This pad is excellent for sanding, just the eight size and it grips the parts and the table well. One thing I did discover during use is it grips bare wood better than a finished surface or in my case an old laminate countertop. I use a laminate countertop from an old kitchen island as my assembly/sanding table it works great, adhesive doesnt stick to it and it's dead flat. After sanding for a while the dust will fall through the holes and make the countertop slippery causing the pad to slip around. Simple enough fix, I just shake it off after a dozen parts or so and wipe it down with a damp cloth. Would definitely recommend and when and if I ever wear this one out I will certainly replace it with the exact same one.

I bought this and a slightly cheaper powertec version. If I had to do it again I would buy this over the powertec. This is heavier duty. You can see and feel the difference with it. Will support heavier items better and seems to be better made. Also this is not the same as the light drawer liners you get at the large box stores. I use mine to set my tools on, my finished wood pieces and for sanding. These are amazing for what you need them for.

I got these for an AV cart that I just painted and wanted to protect shelving. It was easy to cut the piece the same size as original; provided good protection and non-slip coverage for items placed on top of it. Good find!

I got this because I have a Morse code keyer for ham radio that kept sliding around on my desk during use, despite having a weighted base. This material solved that problem and it does seem thicker/heavier duty than the stuff you typically get for the inside of kitchen cabinets. I got a big roll and only needed a small piece, but I also wound up using it under a new microwave we got that is light and would slide around on the kitchen counter top. It doesn't slide any more now, and I like that I was able to cut a custom sized piece to fit under it. Works great!
