This Military National Defense .75” lapel ribbon pin was the exact needed for my cap. It’s made of metal not plastic. The pin fit and look great on my cap.

I am a Cold War Veteran and wanted this pin for my hat. When it arrived, I unpacked it and was so pleased with the weight of materials used. I believe this will last a long time. It is very legible, too.

This is simply great. Whoever thought of it had a brilliant idea. We're seeing DD 214 shirts, hats, and now this snazzy lapel/hat pin. Discharge papers are a symbol of accomplishment. When I got mine, the clerk, a retired SGM double-dipping, said to me: "Sir, this is now the most important piece of paper you own." How right he was. This is the key to veteran benefits. When I got my veteran's plate the RMV wanted to see my DD 214, and NOT my Army retired ID card! I like how the National Defense Medal ribbon is included, a very nice touch. It is also just the right size: Not too big or too small. It will be noticed, and makes for a great conversation starter. Veterans are pin collectors, and this one is a MUST. I'm wearing mine on my sport jacket lapel.
