Where do I even start?!!?!? This little machine is AMAZING, it's the best thing I've gotten on Amazon ever, and quite possibly my favorite thing in my entire house. The coffee tastes like it's straight from a high end cafe, EVERY SINGLE MORNING WITH ZERO EFFORT, it just feels too luxurious to be true. The first thing I do when I wake up is head to this beautiful machine. It's so easy to use, I honestly didn't even bother looking at the directions, I just looked at the symbols on the front and figured it out (but I do have experience with espresso machines). There's so many good things about this that instead of writing an unreadably long 20 paragraph review, I'll do a pros and cons list!PROS:- Grinds your coffee perfectly every time and distributes an even amount for consistent cups- Fully adjustable grinding settings for fine or course ground coffee- Built in tamper so you don't need to fiddle with objects and make a mess while you're half asleep- Extremely aesthetically pleasing and made of materials that don't get greased up with fingerprints easily- Is so easy to clean, has a cleaning function and the spill tray is SO easy to dump and rinse out- Water tank holds a lot of water and is easy to refill- HOT TEA YOUR THING?!?! Well now you no longer have to wait to boil water or microwave tea cups, because this baby has PIPING hot water that comes out instantly at the touch of a button, and I swear it somehow makes the tea taste better (maybe it's just in my head?!)- Frothed milk your thing?! The built in frother does an AMAZING job and it has a special attachment for those of you wanting even MORE froth. It even froths almond milk, WIN!- COLD BREW in an instant, omg! I seriously can't believe how well the cold espresso and cold brew settings work, and they taste amazing! No more waiting overnight for your cold brew or having to go to a coffee shop, you get it at a touch of a button.- It's also so easy to use, I figured it out just looking at it, and taught my husband in 2 minutes- Crazy about fresh beans? Well the bean holder has a rubber gasket making it air tight so they don't get stale- THE PUCK... You know how you see baristas in coffee shops banging the portafilter against a rubber bar like crazy trying to get the hard puck of leftover coffee grounds to pop out of the portafilter basket? Well, the way they've designed this thing, it pops right out easily, you can just flip your wrist and it pops out into your kitchen trash, no banging needed. It's like magic.- Want to impress your friends? Show them this, I've yet to have one person not think it's the coolest thing ever.- When you turn it on, it heats up FAST and is ready to use. I used to have to wait a whole minute or two with my old machines and the machine at work, this one heats up in seconds.- Auto shut off timing, it's the perfect amount of time for two people to putz around in the kitchen in the morning both making coffee before the auto shut off initiates.- My husband says "it makes coffee just like the shops back home in Europe" and now he won't go to American coffee shops anymore because the coffee is better at home 🤣CONS:- Countertop space... It does take a significant amount of space and I had to rearrange all my kitchen countertops to fit it, but it was totally worth it.- Price.... It's kind of expensive but I definitely think the value of the item is even higher than the price tag. If you get this, you will never even WANT to go to a coffee shop again, because the coffee that comes out of this is better, over the years you'll save money. All in all, well that's a lot of pros and very few cons from me. I love this thing and have tested it extensively before writing my opinion here. It's truly a great espresso machine. I don't think I can ever go back to hand grinding coffee, waiting for the machine, leveling off my portafilter, finding the tamper that's always lost in the drawer, getting coffee grounds everywhere, etc.... I can now make even better tasting coffee in a fraction of the time it used to take me. My husband and I BOTH LOVE THIS SO MUCH and can't praise it enough!

I received an espresso machine. It came accompanied by all the machine accessories required to brew the beverages, as well as a printed quick start and full manual, which I like. The quick start manual gets you brewing espresso quite quickly, whereas the full manual details the setting options and maintenance tasks that will let you maximize and maintain the quality of the drinks and keep the machine running smoothly. I did notice a small mistake in the full user manual when describing adjusting the volume of the cold brew drink which might confuse some users, but I was able to recognize and correct this in my manual. This is my second espresso machine from De'Longhi. My first machine impressed me with its overall quality and ease of use, and I looked forward to testing out this machine. This machine is quite a bit more attractive than my first, and has quite a few more features, but also occupies a bit more counter space, being about 16 inches wide vs 9.5 inches, so this is a consideration if you have limited space. The entire exterior of this machine is made of shiny stainless steel, is quite attractive and easy to clean. The machine is solid, well built, and it seems to have the same thoughtful construction as my other machine. There are numerous adjustments available on this machine, more so than on my previous machine. Many of these are distributed to buttons, dials, and other settings on the outside of the machine, which makes them easy to adjust, while some of the less often changed settings are in electronic menus which are described in the full user manual. This machine seems best suited for someone who is looking for some automation and simplicity over an entirely manual machine, but while still possessing a few manual tasks. User intervention is still required to tamp the ground coffee in the portafilter and then to move the portafilter to the brewing portion of the espresso maker, so it lets you get involved during the brewing process. Others steps, like making milk foam for some of the beverages, allow the user to choose between an automatic or manual process. It offers quite a bit of flexibility in the hot coffee selections, making latte, cappuccino, flat white, espresso, Americano, and coffee, as well as dispensing hot water to make hot beverages such as hot chocolate and tea. It also adds 2 cold brew coffees, that include espresso and cold brew. Once I had washed all the necessary parts, I was able to get the machine up and running using the quick start manual and was brewing beverages in about 15 minutes. I have now used this espresso machine daily for the last couple of weeks, and it has worked flawlessly. I have tested all the various coffee selections, and they work well. I have summarized some of my likes and dislikes below: What I like:1. It is quite easy to brew a wide variety of freshly ground coffee beverages, and it does this quickly and efficiently.2. Cleanup of water in the overflow pan is easy, and there is an indicator for when this is required.3. Adding water to the water reservoir is fairly easy, and it holds a reasonable amount of water.4. There are numerous adjustments available so that you can make the beverages to your liking, and making adjustments for the type of grind, the dose level, and water temperature is quite simple. Other options such as drink volumes are available, but in hidden menus (see manual). What I didn’t like:1. Machine takes up a bit more counter space than my older simpler machine.2. Making adjustments to the drink volumes is a bit complicated.Summary: Overall, this is a very nice espresso machine, being an attractive addition to a kitchen and serving as a very nice multi-functional device. I also feel it succeeds in striking a nice balance between a fully automatic and manual machine. It has worked perfectly for over 2 weeks. Although it is somewhat expensive, I feel that if you regularly drink the coffee beverages that it makes, it definitely would be worth considering adding it to your kitchen appliances.

Nous sommes très satisfaits! Il faut faire plusieurs essais pour réussir et programmer notre café parfait mais une fois que l’on a réussi , tout se fait facilement. J’aime particulièrement le moussage du lait automatique lorsque nous avons des invités.

To be honest I had never owned or used anything close to this before. I had a basic espresso machine for a bit, and a basic moka pot. My point is, this is pretty high-end for me and I don't know how it compares to other machines in a similar bracket, take this as the opinion of a novice. This machine is a semi-automatic, it's not one of those super automatics where you press a single button and you get a cappuccino. It does a lot of things but it needs your attention a few times along the way.Even if I was familiar with the basics of making espresso, there is a bit of a learning curve with this one. The grind size, the temperature and the pressure gauge were new notions to me. Thankfully the instructions are super helpful and designed for novices. Basically some types of coffee are better when brewed with specific parameters, so depending on the coffee you're using you can make it precisely how it should be made. It becomes easy pretty quickly after a few tries, and the learning process is actually kinda fun.The fact that the machine is so precise is part of what makes this interesting. You're not eyeballing grind size or quantities or tamping, it does those things for you, and lets you appreciate nuances. Unlike a Moka pot you're not risking bitter over-boiled coffee, you can set the temperature your specific type of coffee requires. This is not super precise however, as there are only there are five increments, but it's better than none. The grinder is great, the size is adjustable and it has a sensor that manages to know exactly how much coffee to give out. The tamping thing is manual but you just pull a lever and it makes it easy to do it perfectly and without dropping any coffee. The different settings are pretty straightforward and easy to use.The automatic milk steamer works really well and I've barely used the steaming wand because of it, but that works well also. The cold brew option I didn't think I'd use but turns out I love it. Cold brewing is usually a very slow process, it gives you a smoother, less bitter coffee and allows you to appreciate different taste notes, but it takes hours to properly make a cold brew usually. I was skeptical that this machine could do it in a minute but it turns out it actually can. What comes out isn't chilled espresso, it's actual cold brew coffee, and it's ready in a minute. It's pretty incredible. The biggest downside is, it's enormous. The features are nice but they come at the cost of taking up so much counter space. And I occasionally wonder if I'd prefer to have that counter space over those features. Make sure you check the measurements, it's definitely something to consider. The other (pretty minor) thing that I did not expect because I'm not familiar with these machines, is it requires a bit of maintenance. A lot of the day to stuff is well-designed and relatively easy to clean, but there's some deeper cleaning that you have to do occasionally that isn't as intuitive, plus you have to buy specific products. It's not that bad just something to be aware of.Still, if you can spare the room, it's great to be able to make such perfect coffee at home.
