I have a decksaver for almost every single piece of music equipment I own that could use one, around 7 of them total all shapes and sizes. As funny as this sounds, the main reason I originally purchased these were for peace of mind that my cats wouldn't walk over my equipment and scratch it up. However, recently I have accumulated so many pieces of equipment that I have to store them differently now, so I ended up buying a new batch of around 4 decksavers and padded bags, this decksaver included. Now when I'm not using the equipment, I put the decksaver on it, and put it into my bags (Gator padded bags, if you're curious), where I can put 3-4 pieces of hardware in the same pocket now because I can face the decksaver parts of the equipment towards each other, so the decksaver is the only thing making contact between all of my music equipment. The back of the equipment is protected by the bag's padding, so it makes for a VERY clean and easy way to store and retrieve equipment while keeping it very protected. Either way you choose to use these decksavers, you definitely will not be disappointed.Oh yeah, I should talk about the quality off this product, since that is very noteworthy as well. These things are thick and very well formed, you won't be disappointed with the quality of them. Even though they are getting a little scratched up with the way I use them, none of them will probably every look bad from the small scratches, and I have no doubt they will last and look good for years to come. This was probably $1 to make, and sold for a whopping $50!! I ordered it, because I was not very smart. I could probably cover it with some plastic around the house, used the box, or a nice case with a nice zipper for a fraction of the price.Save your money. Do not be an idiot like me.
