This box is not weather tight, we had our first small snow fall and I have a dusting of snow inside my tool box and cover all over my tools

box packaged in a cardboard box with absolutely no protection, no foam, no nothing. Why would they ship this kind of beautiful truck tool box that way and expect to arrive with no dents or damages! Very disappointed! The dent was visible on the front bottom of the tool box. Why would I keep it for a partial refund. Would have loved to return for new one but the packaging sucks.

I got this box for full price and when I received it, it was in a box with no damage and looked like it hot thrown off a building. Between the warpage from the welding on both sides (in picture) or the (3) large dents on 3 separate sides including the lid which has a panel under it so I cannot pound it out. This came in a box the size of the truck it's going on and I'm suppose to just walk it back into my local post office to send it back and pay shipping? Yeah right. 0 stars on this poorly made box. Wish I had the patients to return it.

This was purchased as an Amazon Warehouse return so came with dents and busted welds, etc. However, the more I use this box, the more the quality issues become apparent. The aluminum dents very easily, the lid has become warped. Nothing near the quality of other boxes such as WeatherGuard. In my opinion, it is not worth the money new. I expected better from DeeZee. On the positive, the paint has held up well and should look fine if you don't actually use it daily for work and take it easy on it.

Ordered the Red Label toolbox due to 3-D size, color, and price. Arrived in a few days, a good thing. Missing the key, a bad thing. Box is lightweight (aluminum - rust proof) but maybe too light because it has a flimsy feel to it, and it had a small dent in the lid, probably the result of the deliveryman dropping it off his hand truck. If you are looking at buying a Dee Zee toolbox, I'd recommend spending the extra couple hundred and get the heavier duty box. For me, the small dent was not a showstopper, as this is going on a TRUCK. Okay, that's the bad. The good is that it is easy to install (of course), looks great with the black color matching the rest of the black "stuff" on my truck, and it is deeper than other toolboxes I've had in the past so I can get more "stuff" into it. With luck and gentle treatment, this tool box will last for the life of the vehicle. Tomorrow, I have to get back to Dee Zee and get a key for the lock so I can secure the contents of the toolbox! Would I buy it again? Yeah, probably, but more than likely, if I had it to do over again, I'd spring for the extra money and get the heavier one Dee Zee indicates is intended for rougher use on a daily basis. All that said, I consider the Red Label a good value for the price if you're not going to constantly be using the box.
