Item is shipped without handles for lid and pot attached, and the small pieces of hardware can be difficult for stiff/numb/painful fingers to manipulate when assembling; in fact, I substituted two larger plastic washers for what came with the pot lid handle assembly. The removable handle for the strainer insert is hard to compress to fit the ends into the bracket, for the same reason. But the pot and strainer are a good size for small batch frying, and even to use for boiling a rotisserie chicken carcass to make broth from the bones. The small metal tongs are a good fit for small arthritic hands, and the pierced ends of the tongs are a good feature, enabling user to drain and prevent grease or hot water from pooling in the tongs handles and causing burns.

1st use, with water (!) the bottom burned, not all the way through, but enough where I don't feel safe trying it with oil. It's such a shame, as this is the exact size and shape pot I wanted and cannot find at a reasonable price.

I was somewhat worried that the size of the pot would actually be smaller, but it can hold a decent volume of oil, though I use it more to boil water for noodles / broth.The both the basket and the pot come with removable handles. The pot's wooden handle fits in pretty sturdily and doesn't look likely to break from regular use. (Wouldn't swing it around like a hammer though)

Have to get use to it. Can only add small amount of oil. Fries for one person at a time. Small. Easy to clean and use. Love the basket

Cheap Chinese import unworthy of hard earned or even free money received to spend on this. This the thinnest pot I've ever used and for frying that is all negative. If you must have go to Temu and get it there as a free product after purchase. I believe that's where this originated from. I know they sell them but I purposely ordered through Amazon because I didn't want that cheap crap. Surprise. Thanks Jeff

It’s got a good depth but it’s Not wide enough, can deep fry- only a piece or two chicken legs at a time- not even a reasonable quantity of fries.Also wish it had a hook for the strainer to hang on.Overall, good quality though.
