These are great for traction, much better than the turf with chains I was using. Required professional mounting on the rims. I got the old off but conceded defeat, had it done. I do not mow with this machine, just pull trailer and plow snow. First use was to move a clean pine tree about 25 ft in length across the back of the yard. Tried and failed with the turf and chains, but these tires dug their way. Point being, they will dig!

Put them on my JD 855 fit perfect for the front and no problems so far. Should be a big improvement for handling snow this winter. Probably won’t need front chains.

I thought this would be a do it all tire, well I was wrong. It does great on blacktop plowing snow but would not pull a trailer up a slight hill in 3" of snow, it got down to the frozen dirt and spun with and without the trailer. also would not pull the trailer up the hill in the mud just put ruts in the yard and packed the tires. The tires do GREAT on firm soil pulling a trailer or just driving but it is a bumpy ride. I bought these for a John Deere GT 262 so I could pull a trailer of firewood to the house without getting stuck with the turf savers. I'm looking into wheel weights to maybe help with getting stuck.

Good fit and fantastic traction. They're a bit shorter than my old turf tires but that's not a bad thing. I loaded them with six gallons of washer fluid and don't expect anything but good service.

Had to replace 2 of 4 tires on a machine I was selling. They did not match my Carlisle tires labeled the same size. These tires did fit the rims but were not as wide or high as the Carlisle. Sold the machine with no complaints but would not suit me if I was keeping a machine.

I wish I had bought these tires 4 years ago. Would have saved me a lot of getting stuck and cussing. I live on a hill in Vermont. Kind of wet in places and there is one place that has a seasonal spring (i.e., it gets pretty wet in this one spot). I have gotten stuck on more than one occasion when I have misjudged the amount of mud there (under the grass), and even the ground around the property can be slick if it had recently rained. The 'turf saver' tires that came with the tractor would spin out and leave tracks in the lawn in various places and get stuck in that potentially muddy area. This year (2015) has been worse given that we have had so much rain this year. I put these puppies on and I do not get stuck AT ALL. not even going through the muddy section I had been avoiding all summer. I do not spin out on the rest of the lawn going uphill either. The guy at the Power Equipment store said these tires would tear up my lawn (heck, the Turf Saver tires did that). But these do not. they are great and I can get my steep lawn mowed without a lot of aggravation !

They're a good enough lug tire but not nearly as wide as my turf tires. My old turf tires with chains puld just as good as these do.But hey, They look cool though. LOL To be fair they are a 6 ply tire where the turfs are only 2.
