The flow rates and pressure generated by this Delavan 7812-201 PowerFlo 12V Demand Pump make it ideal for placement on ATV sprayers, spot sprayers, and utility sprayers for low pressure spraying applications involving agriculture, lawn care, landscaping, and fluid transfer. Includes 2 pin molded connector. Demand pumps operate in conditions where a set flow and pressure are required (eg. spray wands on spot sprayers). The 60 psi pressure demand switch reacts to outlet pressure, interrupting power at a preset shutoff pressure. As soon as outlet pressure drops below a certain level, the switch closes and the pump only operates until the shutoff pressure is attained again. It automatically turns the pump on and off as liquid flow is required. Demand pumps do require a pressure regulator and do require a balanced flow. If the nozzle on the spray gun or boom is too small, it can restrict flow and result in your demand pump shutting off. Shurflo 255-568 In-Line Strainer: Bowl-style, twist-on inline strainer designed to prevent debris from entering your 12V electric diaphragm pump. Installing the strainer / filter on the vacuum side of the pump head will help prevent debris and other particles from entering your pump. The Shurflo 255-568 Strainer has a polypropylene housing, nylon bowl, and 50 mesh stainless steel screen. Easy to clean and disassemble (unscrew bowl from cap, remove screen, flush away debris from screen).
