This is not a "direct-replacement" of my old Dell Optiplex computer. The accompanying software (Office) doesn't seem to like old images. For instance, the new Power Point doesn't like to display older Power Point files. I had to re-load Office 2010 in order to view older Power Point files. I also like to have my traditional computer speakers plugged into the back of the tower, but the only way to plug them in was through the headphone port on the front--and then, I had to redesignate the port for speakers as opposed to headphones. The CD drawer is extremely flimsy. Please don't put any pressure on the drawer when open--it'll break for sure! Apart from that, it's a capable computer.

I like this desktop so much. It’s rock solid and affordable. I have been using it for more than a week. And I just want to recommend it to other people.

The office computers in the company are all Dell. This time I want to change my computer at home. I am not disappointed. The quality is as stable as ever.

My first impression was that the computer was very light in weight, the lightest tower I've ever owned. I then hooked up the keyboard and it felt really cheap. I recognize that it wouldn't be a premium keyboard, but nothing about it felt sturdy. Well, that keyboard lasted about 2 minutes before the keys stuck. First it was a letter as I entered my password, the endless repetition of the 1 letter until it was forced to stop. Then shortly thereafter it happened again with a number. I tried pushing other keys, pushing the same errant key again, nothing got the keyboard to respond normally. Thankfully I had an extra keyboard from the previous computer I had purchased. Next was the mouse. It works, so that's nice. But again, it's very light weight and just doesn't feel durable. While the tower seems okay so far (though I'm keeping the box for a while just in case), I'd certainly purchase my own keyboard and mouse since they're from the bargain bin.
