I cracked two injectors where the wire connector shaft connects to injector shaft. I ordered two of these as I always prefer OEM. When I received them, they were in cheap plastic bags and not boxes. On each one, a plastic tab was broken off where the rail clip goes. They looked like re-man injectors. I did not return at that time as I put engine on hold (family/cancer). I finished engine a few days ago and decided to give these injectors a shot instead of the hassle of trying to return them two months later. I have not been able to get engine to run smooth. I just thought PCM needed CASE relearn. My neighbor is a GM tech and brought home his tech II scanner. Turns out the two injectors I ordered are not functioning properly.

I bought this part because it is the factory OEM manufacture, I could have spent less for a autoparts store brand, but the other 5 injectors are form this manufacture and are still going strong after 10 years of continuous use. Just happened to break an injector when dissembling the engine and wanted the part/manufacture that has lasted this long and is still working. THE NEW DESIGN OF THIS INJECTOR HAS A TAPERED BLACK PLASTIC END ON IT AND DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE PIC

it arrived on time, took it to the mechanic and it was installed, no problem, except how to pay for the job.
