This specially designed, one-piece, all metal CNC'd camera grip, with smooth machined edges for the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV Mirrorless Micro Four-Thirds Digital Camera gives added comfort and a better, more secure grip on the camera. The smooth carved wood gives added comfort and a better, more secure grip on the camera. The grip easily attaches to the front of the camera body with a just-fit design and maintains the overall sleek, lightweight profile of the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV. In addition the metal bracket on the bottom and side of the camera gives added protection.
The large opening on the bottom is positioned so that the battery and memory card can be easily removed without taking the entire grip off the camera. There is a offset tripod screw socket in the base of the grip which allows the grip to remain in place when mounted on a tripod. The recessed thumb screw wheel does not protrude past the bottom of the grip, so that the the camera will stand on a flat surface without tipping when set down. The color and finish of the grip is designed to specifically match the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV camera making it a sleek, unobtrusive tool for your camera.

This grip will be handy when I travel to Japan. Having the little extra to hold onto will add some piece of mind knowing that I will not drop my camera

My silver & black E-M10 IV is certainly a nifty and handsome camera, but its svelte size and marginal grip can create some handling issues for those of us with rather large mitts. This Fotodiox hand grip does a nice job of ameliorating that situation. The metal frame neatly matches the contour of the camera, and the small wooden grip fits snugly against the camera's grip. While the smoothness of the rosewood is comfortable and looks good, it does provide less purchase than, say, a leatherette grip. If you walk around with camera in hand, I would strongly recommend a wrist strap for increased security. That said, the camera does feel more secure when holding it at my side, and I'm able to keep my right hand more relaxed because of it.If you shoot primarily with dainty lenses such as the 25/1.8 and 42.5/1.7, maybe this grip spoils the slim package a bit. I mostly use my E-M10 IV with the 7-14/4 and Sigma 56/1.4 - neither of which is "large" for what they are, but there are probably a dozen smaller m4/3 lenses available.My one quibble with the grip is I feel the edges should be machined a bit rounder. No issues for me, but I could see some folks being bothered by the almost-sharp edges.Overall, this hand grip is a great addition to my E-M10 IV and slightly increases the pleasure of my photographic experience. Highly recommended.

This grip allows better camera stability as the grip on the camera is not large enough for my hands. This grip does the job to better stabilize while shooting. Price is competitive with other on line grips.
