The barrel features a 2 ¾” barrel diameter – the largest size allowed in USSSA play – to help create consistent contact. Uprising’s one-piece alloy design allows for total barrel control, and the Ion D End Cap optimizes performance while maintaining a light swing weight for the youngest travel ball hitters.

This bat was purchased for our son as a gift. He absolutely loves it. The quality and durability are everything we would expect from a DeMarini and the bar was the perfect size and weight for our 10yr old. I think it was a really good value for the money and hopefully will last him an entire season before he outgrows it. I would definitely recommend!

My 10u travel player needed a once piece for colder days practicing. This thing quickly became a favorite beautiful pop. Large sweet spot and grip for days. It’s well balanced, can feel a little heavier barrel sized at first feel but that’s due to design for maximum sweet spot but not over powering hindering the players swing.

It’s definitely a head turner and can cell DeMarini picked up where they left off on the previous gen. The color itself pops and gets a lot of attention and is a nice hot bat! My son wasn’t a fan of his CatX so we sold that one and got him this (got some of my money back!) this uprising doesn’t disappoint. My son loves it!

Purchased 26" for my 7 year old. He has an expired Marucci cat8 and a Easton alpha alx.The Easton bat is known for being endload balanced (not ideal for kids who are not strong swingers yet). The new DeMarini uprising bat felt noticably heavier than both Marucci and Easton bats. The grip was also noticably thicker making the swinging even more of a challenge for a younger player. I measured the bat on a food scale at 16.5oz. the Easton bat weighed in at 16 even. The .5oz difference feels like a 2oz difference. If you're still doubting this review- I went as far as taking the bat to 2 batting coaches and both noticed the new Uprising's heavy feel.I do want to note- the plastic wrapping was never removed and the bat never struck a ball since returning it was a no brainer. The aluminum did have a noticeable deeper sound when tapping with my knuckle so don't expect to hear much when you make contact, similar to the 2022 uprising model I've seen in use before.
