The warnings on the packaging aren't joking around. I apparently got a drop of some 10ppm solution on the back of my hand and then itched my face some time later... My lip was bitter for DAYS despite several attempts to wash it off.That's not a complaint, that's an endorsement. This stuff is potent and long lasting. I've been able to remove the chicken wire that was protecting a hydrangea because the deer and rabbits won't go anywhere near it thanks to this stuff.10/10

Ultra bitter taste, will use it to cover the wires and wire harness components in my car to stop the squirrels and mice from chewing.

I used this last summer on my roses and hostas, which the deer have been chewing nicely. I waited until the roses leafed out in spring, and sprayed the product. I kept nets over the roses for about a month after spraying, because I'd read that it takes a while for the plant to fully absorb the bitterness enough to discourage the deer. It worked. I was also surprised that it kept them away from my hostas, which deer usually love. I'm trying the same thing again this summer, in hopes of the same good results.Note that the bitterness seems to last all summer long, as the deer ignored these plants the whole season. The quantity in this package was enough to treat about 75 plants. The deer do need to nibble your plant once, just to find out they don't like it, so you will have a tiny bit of chewing on one or two plants.
