We also added a much stronger magnetic drain plug and rubber/steel reusable washer and an 1/8 inch NPT temperature sender bung located in the side of the pan. To top it off it will be finished with a durable black two stage coating. Kit comes complete with neoprene gasket, magnetic drain plug, and 1/8 inch NPT temperature sender plug.

Second one purchased...have one installed on my lifted dodge......durable, and extra fluid a plus.....don't know if cooling tube actually function...has port for temp sender, and drai. Plug....

Installed on a 2005 Silverado 2500HD. It fits but mods are needed.1) transmission internals, the parking pin bracket needed a little material removed for clearance2) the exhaust pipe heat shield needed to be reshaped. *I also wrapped the pipe with heat shield wrap.3) you will need to drop the drivers side exhaust pipe to install, or do filter changes.Other than that. It’s nice and thick. Seems well made, and is thick metal. Came with a cheap gasket, that I did not use. There is no pan magnet, but the drain plug is magnetic.

Does not fit 6.5 diesel transmissions. Constantly leaks from drain plug.

Super happy with this pan. I was skeptical at first but soon as I opened the box I was sold. Thick heavy pan well made. Required a little modification to fit my application but my 4l80 isn’t in a vehicle that came with one. My trans temps dropped 20+ degrees. The way my vehicle is set up this pan catches plenty of air and that might not be the case for everyone. Was also able to use the stock filter if anyone is wondering

Great pan for my 05 2500 HD GMC sierra , however it said it would not fit my truck, went underneath and looked at it and saw that the rear crossmember transmission mount has an additional oversized mount on the crossmember ( maybe it also fits the Allison transmission not sure) for the actual transmission mount . Half of the box steel mount that sat on the crossmember that actually mounted my transmission mount was not used, so I cut that chunk off re-welded a piece in there and works great . Tranny pan fits and clears fine now. I tow a 28 foot travel trailer that weighs about 6500 pounds and will be upgrading to a fifth wheeler so I wanted to do everything I could to keep the transmission cooler. I did a round trip to the Richmond NASCAR race about 400 miles, the tranny stayed about 190 majority of the time , crept up to about 220 maybe 230 on a few tough hills, then back down to about 190–200 I’m happy with the additional fluid and the cooling features of this pain

Fit up under a 2wd gmt400 with 4l80e no problem. Adds around 4 quarts above stock capacity and seems to keep transmission cooler when moving. Normal temps by time I get home from work about 170 to 180 before and about 155 to 160 after. Likely will perform better when I wrap the exhaust cross over.
