If I had screwed it in any further I would've ended up grinding out shards of metal from the filter head threads because of the odd teeth placed in the middle of this filter nipple. No idea where or what situation that would work for... But definitely not a normal filter nipple.

Good quality. Pic looked like raw steel. Came nicely zinc coated. Nice packaging as well.

I did not like knurled threads, but they are effective. I do not care for the material i would prefer stainless or at least hardened. SBC 350
