About 3 Way Instrument Tee Fittings
This fitting is T-shaped and has three openings to connect and branch three pipes, two on the main run and one branch at a 90-degree angle from the middle of the tee. Tri Clamp instrument tees are a simplified manifold used to regulate fluid direction. Additionally, tees can be used in succession to build simple inline oxygen rigs for brewing systems.

This is a typical, standard Tri-Clamp "T." It is made of food-grade SS304 stainless steel. I use these in my home brewery, and I have been using these types of units for many years. Being made of SS304, they are unlikely to rust, stain, or tarnish.Dernord is a well-trusted company and is very popular among homebrewers. Being 1.5", it is the most popular size, as well. Usually, these types of "Ts" have all tubes the same size, but this one has one side that is pretty short. This is nice when dealing with smaller or tight areas.The fit and finish is well done. There are no dents, scrapes, scratches, pits, of defects. I really like this attachment, and I definitely recommend it.

I have several of these tees made by dernord and all of them are good quality with polished surfaces, no machining burrs, and good quality sealing surfaces. The entire interior surface is sanitary with no pits, voids or welding defects. I personally use these tees on tops of fermenters to attach a spunding valve as well as a PRV. This allows the spunding valve to be vertical, while the PRV/vacuum breaker is happy being mounted sideways. I prefer these full width tees over the narrow ones as they are much easier to clean and inspect. Overall, quite happy with the construction and quality. They are not the cheapest however I feel that Dernord is establishing itself as a quality yet cost effective brand were you can buy with confidence. Do pay attention to shipping estimates as if its not in a local warehouse, it can take MANY weeks to ship.
