Have an 89 258 Jeep with Dual Fuel (gas/propane)Propane, well where the mixer is with the air filter? There was a coolant hose right in front of my air filter. Big deal? No, but it is hot ambient air right in front of my filter, lol. Slapped this on and you can touch it now, that's how much it went down. Now, I'm gonna do the rest of the vehicle. My Jeep is kinda hot rodded, but obviously not setting speed records, lol. But I'm out to make power with efficiency. Keep hot things warm, things that like to be cold cool. This is a great way to do it.

This stuff is amazing ! Highly durable and fit over the business ends of some prefabbed -10stainless oil lines. Definitely seal the opening of whatever is being sleeved as it's interior is quite fibrous. Overall I am very pleased in knowing that the lines running near exhaust are protected.

An absolute MUST HAVE for anyone with a modified vehicle, especially turbo vehicles. Heat management is often overlooked when chasing power, but poor heat management will KILL performance and components. I’ve used mine since 2017 and it worked flawlessly. No material deformation or charring 3 years later. And the hose underneath was still 90% pliable (fragola). Spend the money! You won’t regret it.

I used this fire sleeve to protect some 5/8" ID heater cost hoses on my LSx RX7, and it was exactly what I needed. The product is well built, and seems very durable. I have no doubts about DEI product quality, and am confident it is doing its job to protect the rubber hoses from my headers. The only thing that could possibly be improved, in my opinion, would be to add a little more of the self fusing silicone tape, as it runs out quickly if you have more than 2 ends to tape up.

Arrived quickly, well packaged, and was easy to install...cant say much more. Just as expected. Sleeve is thick and seems durable. Outer coating has a 'silicone' feel to it. Use to protect shifter cable passing close to header. No issues thus far.
