When I initially read through the reviews before buying this, I saw multiple reviews mentioning that the holes are a little weird. Assuming the weirdness was mild like some other cheaper aida cloth I've worked with before, I ordered this and used it to make Christmas presents. The holes aren't just weird, in some spaces they were triple and in others just plain missing. I made everything work, but I probably won't buy this again in the future.

The good: it’s a nice stiffness that washes out well and the color is exactly as photographed and describedThe bad: the holes aren’t especially even (see pic where I held it up to a light background) so it takes extra effort to make sure you’re actually stitching in the correct part of the holeI don’t hate it and I’d buy it again but I also wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who’s not somewhat experienced at stitching

This aida cloth is what I'd consider standard, so exactly what I was expecting. Out of the package the cloth is stiff enough to not require an embroidery hoop, but it softens some on washing. Perfect for sashiko.The color is, indeed, navy. So it's just what I wanted and I am happy.You might wonder why I'm commenting that the product is exactly as described. It's because when I was searching for aida cloth I noticed another brand where the color is described as one thing and the photo is different.Also I did not find it thin. It was as thick as all the other brands I've purchased.So I want to assure other potential purchasers that the product is exactly as described and you will not be disappointed. (And, no, I'm not related to them and they didn't ask me to write a review.)
