When I was unpacking the part I noticed the metal parts were not smooth and had spray paint flaking off of it. Installed and checked them the day after and one of the bands on the outer boot had came off of the boot. Fit was good for dodge journey and I utilized my original axel nut and torqued to proper torque.

I have been using Detroit Axle for a few years now. They are my go to for these types of auto parts. Much cheaper than the parts houses and just as good if not better quality. These axles so far have not disappointed. They look like OEM build quality and I currently have over 700 miles on them since installation.

Vibration when installed. Now getting worse. Right CV axel started slinging grease from the out-board CV joint a little while after installed. Now its popping when turning. They will not honor the warranty because I am not a certified mechanic. I was a mechanic for 9.5 years in the Marine Corps I guess that's not good enough!

Overall fit like OEM part. One issue I had was the castle nut that came with the part for the passenger side was not correct. I end up using the castle nut from the old part with a little lock tight

Driver side is the wrong it does not fit the wheel hub. Passenger side fits great
