New R&P Component installed and failed immediately, main seals internal to rack did not hold power steering fluid and leaked out within 48 hours of filling reservoir. Contacted seller and requested replacement, and compensation for costs of install and alignment costs. Seller Detroit Axle required 75% payment of original cost to send a new part. That new cost would be refunded after failed part is returned. Refused any participation in labor to install. I will pay repair shop to install this 2nd part and then another shop to align the front end again. I will post update at later date as to final out come. Seller was pleasant to deal with so far, and has been responsive, yet failure to make any compensation to verified labor costs is disappointing. Not sure what liability there lies with a parts seller to compensate for creating extra costs to fix an issue caused by them. No right way to do the wrong thing!
