Hard to say it does what it is supposed to do. Not willing to drop my tank pressure to see... ;) Price is very good.

These are only check valves, as expected. No "flame shield" inside so manufacturer should not call these arrestors.A check valve may stop some flashing but it is not an arrestor!They seem to work fine as check valves so 4 stars.

I don't know if they work, haven't had anything happen they had to stop, but they weren't hard to install.

I hope that I never test these things, but I installed them on my torch, brazing, and they work fine.
