The Dewalt circular saw is great. Not haveing a cord in the way is fantastic. It cuts very well and is very well made.

I burned up my previous saw of the same model. More abuse than a failure. This model was the direct replacement. The high quality of dewalt, not their entry level tools that look almost the same. Tool only.

No puedo opinar mucho sobre el producto ya que aún trabajo duro con ella, le consegui baterías dewalt 20V de 5AH, la sierra funciona perfecto , buena calidad de sierra y hay muchos videos de su eficiencia , llegó a tiempo, Lo único es que la sierra No me llego en caja Dewalt sino una caja de cartón común , así que tenía el temor que fuese reconstruida (refurbished) pero al menos se ve nueva y que no tenía ningún uso, cuando uno compra algo nuevo espera recibirlo en su caja original , no le faltaba nada pero sería correcto entregarlo en su caja original.

I've been really pleased with this saw. I've built a couple of platforms for 250 gallon water tanks with it and am currently using it to build a milking stanchion for milking cows and sheep. Yesterday I was making some cuts and thought the shoe was dragging or something because it seemed slow or down on power. Turns out I grabbed a 5 amp battery instead of one of my 6 amp batteries (not a flex volt battery). It makes a big difference to use the 6 amp battery. It feels almost as powerful as my 15 amp corded saw with that battery in it. I notice the blade binds a little more easily than my corded saw and it cuts just a little slower. It's worth it though. I didn't realize how much of a pain it is to fight with a cord. This saw is almost an extension of my hand. I'm really curious to see if a 6 or 9 amp flexvolt battery can improve the power more than a standard 6 amp battery.Update 12/20/2023:I've continued using this saw. I've built 2 smallish out buildings and a 2400 sqft barn using this saw heavily through out. My favorite combination is using it with a 6 amp flexvolt battery. Good cutting time and slightly lighter than a 9 amp flexvolt. It's not as powerful as my 15 amp saw, but that has never stopped it from getting the job done faster due to no cord management. It is so nice to not have to use a generator too.
