It's not perfect but how can you be with drywall dust. My 2 gal 20v vacuum for on no problem.

Material wise is well made but is too thick and the screw you have to remove from gauge setter is to short so you can’t secure it back in place. I will suggest to include a longer screw on the knob, other wise is worthless.

Does it manage dust better than without? Sure! Sort of. It actually doesn't do any better than having a helper hold a normal vacuum right by the cutting bit.Additionally, the seal against the tool is by no means tight, which is disappointing for the shroud given its price and brand-match to the tool. Lastly, the port out is an unconventional size, so bests of luck finding a vacuum adapter that fits.All in all, this shroud should have shipped with the tool as standard rather than being an additional add-on. If you aren't in the field of performative construction, duct taping your vacuum hose to the normal, provided depth gauge actually works better than the specialized dust collector.
