The DEWALT DW7352-2 13-Inch Heat Treated Double Sided Replacement Planer Knives replaces the blades in the DEWALT DW735X 13-Inch, Three Knife, Two Speed Thickness Planer. The M2 laminated tool steel stays sharper and lasts longer than conventional knife materials. Vacuum Heat Treating Provides longer blade life before user needs to flip to the second side New Grinding Process provides longer life with fewer nicks. Machined locator holes help users align knives on cutter-head during knife change.

I have purchased a few of these replacement blades. I reuse a lot of old barn wood and flooring and it can be hard to get every nail and screw removed from material to resurface. If you have the 13 inch Dewalt planer keep a pack of these on hand.

Decent blades for the price, price is pretty much the same as home depot online. They are sharp and cut decently in the DW735, but don't expect a flawless finish from them. 4 stars because they come soaked in oil or lube and are very difficult to handle, which is an issue given how sharp the edge is.

If you have a 735 dewalt planer. don't buy the cheap ones that say they fit. They don't. Buy the dewalt brand. THEY WORK.

The Dewalt OEM blades last much longer and stay sharper than the cheaper alternatives. At one point I installed a brand new and sharp powertec set, and after running a few boards of clear poplar through the planer the knives were already dulling and showing ridges. I have switched back to Dewalt brand for good. Considering how long it takes to change the knives, it is worth the money to buy better blades and not have to change them as often.

These planer knives made a huge difference in quality. My old blades were dull and left high spots on my boards. After installing these, I get the very smooth finish I had when I first got the planer. The double pack is a great deal.
