Unless you have a very wide guard, this disc is too thick. If you have an inexpensive, cheap grinder; I doubt it’ll fit. And for some reason, nobody tells the thickness of the flapper discs. I like the flapper discs because they are more forgiving in the quickness of material removal. Stoned discs can take off a lot of metal real fast, and get hot, fast. The flapper discs don’t get that hot.So if you’re a pro and do this stuff all the time, and have good equipment, you’ll probably be good. And know how to tell the thickness.I use a $20 cheap angle grinder to sharpen my mower blades. And I was an Industrial Electrician. Not a welder, or someone who used these a lot. I used a die grinder to cut something to make it fit.So it would be nice to know the thickness of the discs. I’m pretty sure it’s a nice product. But more info is needed for the occasional user.Wear safety glasses, gloves. 100% for sure! 40 grit at 10,000 rpm could be a long night in the ER. So know that this stuff is dangerous. Don’t try to slow down the blade as it slows down. Hold it up, off a surface, until it stops on its own. No kids allowed.Peace to all.

Purchased this 40g flap disc to use on my dewalt DCG416B angle grinder. I use it to mostly sharpen my mower blades which this disc makes quick work of. Would highly recommend!
