These were exactly what I was looking for, for coverage. I didn't get them for surgery but rather to wear for a multiple sessions tattoo that I needed to remove clothing on and around my pelvic area. They are easy to undo and fit back together

Very comfortable! Don’t like that they don’t have pockets, but the Velcro works okay. Perfect for medical reasons or if you’re me, tattoo appointments!

Had hip replacement surgery and have to say these shorts were the best purchase I made before surgery. They were perfect for the nurse visits and comfortable enough for pt.

Life saver after knee surgery. Stretchy, breathable, and easy to use. Made going to the bathroom less of a miserable task. Quality is pretty good too!!

I ordered these shorts in size large, which seemed like it would be okay for my measurements (28 inch waist, 40 inch hips). I'd say these shorts fit me, as in they do provide enough "ease" on my waist, hips, and legs, However, it seems to me as though the shorts should have been designed and cut out with more fabric on the back of the legs. These are shorter shorts in back than they are in the front. It's kind of okay on my particular body, but I think this will be a problem for anyone with more of a "bubble butt" type situation than what I have, and I would prefer to have more coverage back there.Other than that, the shorts seem to be well-made (neatly sewn seams, etc.). The fabric has a "brushed" texture with slight stretch--I like it!. The velcro seems to hold very strongly; however, I will note that this is the stiffer, plastic-like velcro rather than the softer, bendable type of velcro. If you do not have an hourglass or pear-shaped figure, consider ordering a size larger. Also note: these have a short inseam (about 4 inches)--on me, this is shorter than the way it looks like in the picture.

Quick Overview: As a father, I never imagined I’d be reviewing women’s tear-away shorts, yet here we are. After six hip surgeries (with a seventh on the way), my daughter needed something that didn’t require a full-fledged wrestling match to put on. Enter these shorts. Not only do they make dressing easier, but they also look like regular shorts, sparing her from the dreaded “medical clothing” aesthetic. If only all post-surgery solutions were this well-designed.Pros:✔ The Velcro is cleverly hidden—you’d never know they were tear-away shorts just by looking.✔ Strong enough to prevent “accidental wardrobe malfunctions.”✔ Fit exactly as expected.✔ The cotton is soft—a must, since she has CRPS, making rough fabric feel like fire on her skin.✔ Sturdy stitching, no loose threads, no early signs of wear.Cons:❌ None. She loves them, and when she loves something, I love something.Tips:🔹 Wash in a bag to prevent the Velcro from snagging other clothing. My Take: If you’ve ever tried to help someone dress post-surgery, you know how difficult it can be. These shorts? A lifesaver. My daughter immediately asked for more colors ahead of her next surgery, and if that’s not the ultimate endorsement, I don’t know what is.Dad joke for the surgically inclined daughter:At this point, my daughter doesn’t just have a punch card for hip surgeries—she’s one operation away from a free one. Hoping the next one comes with a complimentary upgrade… maybe titanium?”**Just a note—I write my reviews to inform, but why not have a little fun while we’re at it? If I sound like a Colonial American Grandmother, rest assured, I probably wasn’t churning butter this morning… I think.Additional Info—Grandpa humor is like Dad jokes, only older and smells like original Old Spice:As a Vine reviewer, I know my words might be the difference between someone buying or bolting from the "Add to Cart" button. Also, fun fact: I pay Uncle Sam about 40% of the product’s retail value in taxes—so trust me, I don’t sugarcoat. Here’s my rating system, boiled down:⭐ 1 Star: Nope. Hard pass.⭐⭐ 2 Stars: Slightly better than a dumpster fire.⭐⭐⭐ 3 Stars: Meh. Only if you’re desperate.⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 Stars: Solid, does the job, maybe even a little impressive.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 Stars: Love it! Would recommend (and buy again).

I’m 5’5” size 8 bottom. I had hip replacement surgery. Very soft. Wash well. I wish they were longer but ok. Size M fit true to size.

I got these shorts just for summer beach days, and they’re exactly what I wanted - super easy to take off and put on over a swimsuit. The fabric feels nice and breathable, kind of like soft cotton, which makes them comfy even on a hot day.I wasn’t using them for medical recovery or anything, just needed something cute and functional - and they totally work for that.
