This makes walking 2 dogs incredibly easy; one of the quality of life features is the connector pivots so the dogs will never get their leashes tangled. It overall works really well and if you have 2 pets it is definitely a must have

This leash splitter has made walking two of my dogs so much easier! The 360° swivel feature works perfectly to prevent tangling, even when my dogs move around a lot. The adjustable length is a great addition which lets me keep my dogs close when needed or give them a bit more freedom in open spaces. The reflective webbing is a nice touch for safety during early morning or evening walks, and the heavy duty clips feel very secure and durable.I also love the sky blue color, it’s stylish and easy to spot. My dogs seem comfortable with it, and I feel like I have much better control over both of them during walks. The only minor issue is that it takes a little practice to get used to adjusting the length smoothly, but once you figure it out, it’s very convenient.Overall, this leash splitter is a practical and well designed tool for walking two dogs at once. Highly recommend it to any multi dog household!

The sky blue is a beautiful color & this is a terrific leash splitter/double option! The webbing is sturdy, there's reflective stitching down each side, the hardware is lightweight yet sturdy & substantial feeling, the clips can be locked once attached to your pets harness or collar, and best of all, each side of the splitter is adjustable in length, so you can keep your pets the same distance from you regardless of height! I would have loved this feature when I still had pair of 30lb & 80+lb dogs!I actually ordered this in advance of long distance move with 3 cats. I'm still debating using large crates vs giving them some freedom in the backseat with seatbelts connected to their harnesses (and a seat extender/protector, of course!). The coupler is a little larger than I imagined, but will still be perfect for the 2 bigger cats (14+lbs each) if I go the seatbelt route, as it will allow them to get from the litterbox on one end of the backseat to the crate & bed on the other, without the ability to climb into the back of my SUV OR into the front seat. I'll be testing it out before the move & will update the review if that's the way we decide to go.While I do wish this coupler was a little smaller in width & hardware, the weight shouldn't be an issue, even for larger cats when used in conjunction with harnesses, seatbelts & sedatives, and the adjustable lengths are ideal for my needs.

I have two blue nose pitbulls, and walking them together has always been a bit of a challenge. My male is around 80lbs, and while he’s the bigger of the two, he’s surprisingly laid-back - he tends to let his sister, who’s a bit over 60lbs, take the lead. She’s full of energy and loves to dart in front of him, causing the leashes to get tangled every time we go out. It got to the point where I was spending half the walk untangling the mess while trying to keep them both under control. So, I decided to give this leash splitter a try. Overall, it works fairly well, though it’s not a perfect solution. The main issue I was hoping to solve was the tangled leashes, and in that regard, it definitely helps. The swivel mechanism does a good job preventing the leads from getting all knotted up, which was a huge relief on our walks. However, the first time I used it, my dogs were a little thrown off by the change. I could tell they weren’t quite used to being so close together, and my female wasn’t thrilled that her usual free reign to pull ahead of him was now restricted. She gave me some serious side-eye for the first half of the walk. But once they got used to the setup, things got smoother.I really like that the leash splitter is adjustable, so I could set the lengths according to their different sizes. This is perfect for keeping them side-by-side without one of them pulling way ahead or dragging the other. The reflective stitching is a nice bonus, especially since we often walk in the evening, and I can see both of them clearly. As for the clips, I do agree with a few other reviewers that they’re a bit of a hassle to clip on and off, especially with the locking mechanism. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to keep in mind if you're in a rush. For a pair of pitbulls who can be a bit more strong-willed, this leash splitter has been a helpful tool. I can walk them together with less hassle, but I still have to deal with a bit of their sibling rivalry. It’s definitely made walks more manageable though, and for that, I’d give it a solid 4 stars.

When I got this, I had it in my mind that it would make walking our dogs easier because we would need only one leash now instead of two when we go to the local state park. We didn't get to use it until today, but wow - It made walking the dogs a treat! At least, for us it did! The dogs? Well...I gotta say that our dogs were not thrilled about this. We have an English Cream Golden Retriever and a Jack Russell that we walk all the time and used to use two leashes - one leash for each of them. With this, now they have to walk at the same speed and cadence and our dogs just are not used to that! When one needed to take a bathroom break, the other wanted to keep going. When one wanted to check something out, the other had to go with. It was super funny to see how annoyed they got with each other all throughout our walk this morning. I am sure they will figure it out in time. But for now, it's super entertaining to watch!I am sure others will really enjoy the convenience of using this over having to worry about where multiple leashes are. It makes taking the dogs on a walk so much more convenient. Just be prepared for quite a comic relief when first using it. Hot dang, that was funny!!!!
