I didn’t think it was possible for a piece of furniture to change my life, but here we are. This king-sized masterpiece of modern design has transformed my bedroom into a palace of sleek sophistication. The built-in headboard? A game-changer. It's like my bed is constantly whispering, "You deserve this."Assembly was surprisingly easy for someone like me who once struggled to assemble a sandwich. The instructions were so clear I felt like a certified engineer by the end of it. Bonus points for shipping in one box—I didn’t know you could fit so much awesomeness in such a compact package! The metal frame is sturdier than my willpower during a pizza sale, and the slats are so secure they could probably survive a small earthquake. No box spring required, which is great because who has time for unnecessary layers in life?Oh, and the height? Perfect for my 8-foot ceiling. I added curtains for a "delicate and romantic look," and now my bed feels like a VIP cabana at a luxury resort.Final verdict: This bed is so good, my dog gave up his own bed to claim a corner of mine. If you’re on the fence, just buy it. You deserve to feel this fancy.

PECCATO!!!

This is a nice quality bed and the inserts, instructions, packaging are all really well done and easy to understand. Extra hardware included. Easy build. The one we ordered was in a bashed-up box and the weight surprised us. It is quite heavy (label on box said over70 lb) and bulky in box when it arrives so he ends of the box can get easily smashed up in transit. The bed had one itty bitty scratch on one tiny part. The rest, in spite of its rough transit, remained in good condition because it is a seriously well-made bed frame. Took two adults to get it in the house. There are no knobs on the top corners, so it is a good option for a fabric canopy. We ordered blackout tab top curtains to go around three sides (as a canopy alternative) and the canopy rails fit through the loops of the curtains as if it was all made to go together, and it works like a dream! It's an attractive and high-quality bed frame.

I have had this bed for 9 months now, and I am getting rid of it. I originally bought this bed to replace another canopy bed that was too tall for the chandelier in our room after we moved, and at the time, I was mostly focused on something functional but aesthetic, and for those purposes, this bed still fits the bill. The gold finish looks great, and as far as I can tell, the bed has held up, structurally (I don't see any bent legs). My mattress is thick and extremely heavy, so I haven't taken it off the base yet to check for loose screws or bent slats. Between the mattress, my husband and I, I would say we're approaching 500 lbs.The reason I am getting rid of this bed now is that the motion transfer has become unbearable. My husband jerks around a lot in his sleep, and every little movement shakes the entire bed. This wasn't a problem in either of our previous beds. This bed was slightly more creaky than other beds when we first assembled it, but nothing terrible. And while the creakiness has stayed at the same tolerable level, the movement and jiggling has gotten consistently worse. If you sleep alone, or have a partner that doesn't move much, I would definitely recommend this bed as a good buy. But if you or your partner is one of the flailing sleepers, I would get something slightly sturdier.

Bought this for my 4 year old Grand Daughter and she loves it, after setting up it looks like a princess bed. This is well worth the price.

I will say, the box is heavy and was carried out by two burly men, but I still managed to move the box on my own, unload and build it all within a few hours. I'm 5"1 at 69 kilos and managed. It's definitely easier if you're two! But on a scale of difficulty, it's much easier to build this bed than to find a suitable partner as a millennial. As long as you're flexible, logical and able to lift above your head, you'll do just fine. This is like the Chinese version of IKEA so bear this in mind as the instructions won't be super clear, however, if you take the time to read them carefully and apply some common sense, you'll figure it out easily. The only reason the screw holes may not line up is because you probably tightened parts of the structure too early, thinking you need to tighten them now. Once you loosen them up a bit, everything will line up perfectly. Funny how that works! The screws come in a packaged advent-style calendar that you pop open from behind while following the steps. This couldn't have been an easier set-up and faster shipment. Very pleased with the outcome. If you're on the fence, this is a good buy for a great price. Also - If you're not yet owning your own place and have to deal with the potential neighbouring pests, you'd rather a metal frame than wood for peace of mind. There's enough storage space underneath, where I currently have another mattress. It feels sturdy, it's comfy and it looks clean. I feel like I'm in my own little cocoon. I especially love the headrest for the pillows. I'm going to do it up just the way I've always dreamed of with white hanging curtains, nets and soft white LEDs.CONS: Hard to complain about this one. The only cons I would say is the single box made it a very heavy item and the instructions could use some work. Also, try to find alternatives to all the plastic wrapping, it's a bit much and not always necessary. There's only one currently livable planet.

I've been looking for a canopy bed for quite some time, and I kept coming back to this one over and over again. At first, I thought it looked too "IKEA" and "MALM-y", but the quality is far beyond what I imagined, and once dressed, it looks quite impressive, sturdy, and centers the bedroom.Design + Construction:So I read a few reviews before I purchased/assembled this beast. For those who say this is a 1-person job, you must also be a beast! This frame is 95% metal, 5% being these funky plastic connectors for the slates. But even the slates are metal! The instructions were pretty straightforward, just make sure you make note of all the steps (for example, you assemble the base frame upside down and you have to flip it before you attach it to the posts. I didn't and had to go back, and it was a pain). Any case, this is a 2-person job! Some of the reviews also mentioned that over time the bed starts to squeak and creak. I can understand why, as the bed is metal-on-metal. The seams are tight, but if this bed gets any action it'll definitely start squeaking. So I bought some gray, thick duck tape and padded/lined nearly all joints. LOL, it certainly added to the construction time, but I think it was worth it. An added benefit was that it made some of the joints a tighter fit, minimizing any rattling parts (for example, 2/3 of the headrest bars insert into the posts and the 3rd bar screws in and holds all in place. I wrapped duct tape around each end before insertion). The only thing I don't like about the construction of this piece is the middle support bar (the one with the baby legs). Those legs are wobbly and will pivot one way or another over time. Lots of beds use this type of support beam, so it's not a problem unique to this frame, but it's something you'll definitely have to check every once and awhile. A simple lifting of the base will rectify this problem as it occurs. And it's really not a structural issue (IMO) as the cross bars (all 20+ of them) are metal and insert into the side beams.Comfort and Durability:As I said, this bed is pure metal! It's not going anywhere. In fact, once I finished constructing it, I was worried about how I'd ever get it out of our bedroom. I don't think I can... LOL. I'll have to sell with the room. I kid, but not really. There are so many components and structural pieces that I would hate the task of disassembly. That said, this bed isn't completely immobile. Tight joints and all, it still sways... if just slightly. I double-tightened everything.Comrfort-wise, this is a super supportive frame. There's no give, so your mattress won't sink in here or there. It looks best without a box spring, but I suppose you can add one on. It is about 11' off the ground, which is great for storage boxes and for my corgi who lives under the bed. I toss and turn a lot and not once did I hear a squeak (again, I think my duct taping skills paid off). One thing I did was put cotton pads on the posts + middle support beams. I have hardwood floors and since this weighs so much, I didn't want it to scratch anything.Last Things:- I like how it feels like I'm sleeping in a fort.- The canopy bars are GREAT for laundry! I dump laundry on the bed, place hangers up on the high beam and crank out that tedious chore in no time. Saves you the trouble of going back and forth to put things away in the closet.- The finish is semi-gloss grey. It's pretty.
