I don't know what I was expecting, but I'd heard it was voted in by the fountain pen reddit and decided to try it. It's like a muted grey-blue-green (but more blue than green, contrary to the celadon name) ink with too much water added to it. I got the best results with a dip pen (picture). I agree this was a miss.

Celadon Cat is one of my favorite ink colors. It shades nicely and looks great on almost any paper.

It's Diamine, so you know what you're getting in general. This color is faint, shades a little, is very well-behaved. Sorry /r/fountainpens you missed on this one, try again.

As usual, Diamine made a good bottle of ink, and the shading and color of this bottle is really a standout.
