Lock was easy to set and reset when code was forgotten. It's pretty and the paper quality is decent for a kids journal. Lines seem pretty well spaced for early elementary kids to still be able to journal. It's also withheld being tossed in and out of bags and shoved under beds so I'd say it's a pretty durable journal.

I really love this diary. It is super cute and good for your secrets. I have another diary like it so this one I use for my homework, recipes, checklists, Christmas lists, and birthday lists. All of the stuff that comes with it is cute and I especially love the little heart necklace. Good for girls any age.💖
