It has the Dickies patch inside for some reason? But overall it is a good price for Dickies.👍

I have to agree with the other reviewers on the sizing. Strangely off. My son is a very average size and is just now getting into a 16. So that's what I ordered him. The waist was way too small and legs where huge. He wouldn't have much room to grow into his bum area either. The quality of course is great typical quality for Dickies. I'm just not sure what is going on with the sizing. I won't order them anymore online.

Sorry for the long review, but I have been buying Dickies pants for my son for over 6 years now. They are durable and awesome for uniform pants and deserve more than the 3 stars I gave. I didn't rate them higher because this style does not fit right. Yes, Dickies pants run slim which is why I purchase them for my son because no other brand fits his waist and I will not buy him "skinny" jeans! That being said, this particular style of pants does not follow what I consider normal sizing for Dickies. Usually I purchase a slim for my son and then he "moves up" to a regular in the same size when the slims get a little tight yet the length is still fine. I have been doing this for the past 6 years, no problems. I always bought him the flat front style:. This year, he asked me to order him this pleated style. Since the flat front style in a size 10 regular fits him perfectly, I ordered him a 10 regular in this style. It still being the Dickies brand I didn't think this was a problem. However, he tried these on and they are too big. They are more like a 12 regular! This is not what I expected because Dickies naturally run on the slim and straight side. I am actually having to return these and order him more of the flat front pants instead. Perhaps if your child is normal sized these might fit, (I don't know because my kids are beanpoles). But if you are used to Dickies sizing - slim and straight, or your child is skinny, this style of Dickies pants is NOT for you.

These pants seem like they would hold up for a long time. The material is thick but not very soft. They run at least one size small. My son usually wears a 16 and typically has a little extra room in them. I ordered the 16 in these pants, and they are way too tight in the waist. They fit like they are a 14, maybe even a 14 slim. The length is pretty much right on for a 16.

In stores, these uniform slacks are really hard to find in a husky size. The quality is great with reinforced knees and they really last, even with a boy that tends to be hard on his clothes. I will purchase these again.

A few weeks ago I ordered some Dickies school pants for my son in a size 8 slim. They ran EXTREMELY small and slim. So, I sent those back and ordered three other pairs--different sizes and styles trying to find something to fit. My son is really a very normal-sized kid and we've never had trouble fitting clothes to him before. First we tried the 'flex waist' size 8 ... WAY too tight in the waist with the adjustment all the way out. The length was good, though. Next we tried the pleated front size 10. WAY too big everywhere--waist, seat, and length. I had also ordered an 8 husky in case the 8 regular was too small. Well, the husky was HUGE! My son thinks they need to make a size 9! I agree. As for the quality ... they seem very well made and durable. I just wish he could wear them!
