I purchased these for my Dad. They work great. They have mild compression. They are easy enough for me or my Dad to get them on and off of him. My Dad likes them because they look and feel like regular socks, just a little more snug. He has worn them for a few weeks now and this is the longest I have been able to get him to wear compression socks everyday. My Dad liked them so much he ordered more pairs himself.

Quality-wise, these are great socks. But take note: they run very large/long.I wear an 11.5 or 12 shoe (depending on the shoe brand), so I bought the Large--which is supposed to be for shoe size 6 - 12.Even after washing and drying 3 times, I still have about 1/2 inch of excess sock hanging off my toes at all times, which is annoying and uncomfortable. That's IF I position the socks correctly on my feet--with the heel of the sock on my actual heel."Just pull 'em up further" you say?If I yank the sock up so that the heel is pulled up to the back of my ankle instead, it does get the slack out of the toes but only temporarily. It, simply slips back down after a few minutes of wear... again leaving me with sock hanging off my toes. The socks are very well-fitted in this regard.I guess I'll order Medium next time, which seems crazy given my foot/shoe size, but I'm hoping that's the solution. These are the only thick socks I've found that ACTUALLY go over-the-calf and all the way up to my knees.UPDATE: I ordered mediums, and they fit perfectly. Again, my foot is 11.5 - 12... and the medium fits perfectly. So, these run large.

Socks felt nice to put on seemed to have a nice compression on the calf as though they might stay up, but the seam over the toe was so wide that it wrapped around the side of my toe and was uncomfortable. Most socks there is a slight angle on the toes & toe seam, but these were just straight & wide basically like a square and did not feel right to me. I returned them. Customer service was great, no issues with return

I would give them four stars because they are definitely not compression socks but I do really like them. They seem to be good quality and very comfortable. Nice winter sock as they are a little thicker than your standard over the calf sock!

This is a review of Dickies comfort compression socks. They come packaged in 2 pairs. They are black, knee length, with a cushioned foot and reinforced toe of grey (other color options and sizes are available). A graduated compression from the top of the sock traveling down the leg helps to relieve leg issues such as fatigue or in my case cramps. The arch compression helps to keep the sock in place and provides additional comfort. The lightweight socks are designed to absorb sweat and moisture from the foot and can be used in all seasons. Dickies has provided a quality product and stands behind it with a Satisfaction Guarantee. They even give you care instructions on the back of the package. After wearing these since March my comfort level has improved if you suffer from leg fatigue or leg cramps buy these, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the comfort they give.

I have been looking for a good midweight sock that provides light compression. I have purchased Evonation socks for some time. They work well, are very light weight and provide light compression also but unfortunately, they do not hold up very long and they cost around $25 a pair. The Dickies socks seem much more durable and have a bit more room at the top of the calf which is a plus for me and cost far less.. So far the mild compression has worked fine. These Dickies are now my go to sock for fall, winter and spring. On hot summer days I will probably still put on a pair of the Evonation socks simply because they are so light weight.

I took a chance and bought a pack of the black Men's Light Comfort Compression Over-The-Calf Socks. I have to say, I'm glad I did. Do to vascular issues, I sometimes wear compression socks but most are too tight and hard as hell to get on. These Dickies aren't too tight or too loose. They're actually a very comfortable, over the calf sock. They are thicker than regular compression socks but not so thick that they take up space in my shoes whether it's my work shoes or my Tennis/Basketball shoes. I actually bought them to be a work sock, since Dickies are known for their work clothing. Due to the quality & comfort, I wear them as my everyday socks. As for the price, they're worth it considering the quality compared to other over the calf socks. I ended up buying 3 packs of black at $14.00 per pack and 3 packs white, at $12.75 a pack for a total of 12 pair and worth the price; in my opinion. I also have to say that it's a nice looking sock as well. If you're looking for a comfortable, over the calf sock for work or everyday wear, I recommend these Dickies. On a side note, being an autoworker who works in a factory floor and am on my feet for anywhere between 8 to 10 hours a day, I really recommend these socks due to the light compression that helps with the fatigue factor your legs and feet have to go through. The light compression makes a big difference.
