This even gives you the temperature in the room within 2 seconds I gave the first one away and bought a cheaper model and it’s not that great but this one works fantastic is accurate and fast

I love that it is an instant read and quite accurate, as soon as I open the probe it tells me what the room temp is, so I know it is working properly and gives me an instant read

Love this thermometer! I cook a lot. It's accurate, and fast. No on/off switch, when you pull the probe out for use it automatically turns on and off. Cool little feature.

Gave this as a gift to my mom and I have used it several time while visiting. The accuracy seems good for the price point. I checked it in boiling water an it was less than one degree off. I have used it to check the temp on all kinds of meats and I have used it for making candy. Everything turned out great. For the price, if it stops working I will just buy another one.

Love that it is magnetized so that it can be very easily accessed when cooking. That being said, when I go to put it on the fridge, it does slide down a wee bit before stopping in place. I sometimes worry that it will fall all the way down. Other than that, it is great. You don't even have to push an "on" button, just open it up and it's ready to go. Also came with a magnet of recommended temps of various foods, for reference. Good buy, in my opinion. :)
