Easy to useThis is a digital meat thermometer. It is powered by an LR44 battery (included). It has a big red power on/off button on the front. There are also smaller buttons on the front for C/F, Max/Min, and Hold. The range labeled on the thermometer is -58F to + 572F. The temperature is displayed in large numbers in the LCD screen on the front. The probe is a single post that does not fold. The probe is washable, but the case should not be immersed in water or left in an oven. The thermometer was made in China.I like how easy it is to use this thermometer. It’s really easy to see the on/off button since it is labeled in red. I got this thermometer to replace an older one with a folding probe. I found the older one hard to use because the labels on the buttons were in small print, so it was hard to distinguish the power on/off button from the other buttons. The readout on the thermometer takes a bit of time—it isn’t quite instant, so when I stick the thermometer into a piece of meat, I often need to wait 30 seconds or more before the temperature on the readout stops rising. However, the accuracy seems pretty good. Overall, this is a good choice for an all-around kitchen thermometer.

This worked great. Even tested it with another temperature device I had and they are off by around .03 degrees. Don’t works fine for cooking.The stainless stick is perfect length longer than what I expected. Works easy and great value for the money.

Very simple meat thermometer. The build quality is pretty decent. Like the fact it comes with an actual battery so I dont have to go out and buy one. Has different measures of temperature so you can use to whatever suits you. So far it's been pretty accurate! Highly recommend for any kitchen!

I got this for my husband as a stocking stuffer, and he loves it. It has a nice, long probe, unlike some of the others I have seen. It is made very well, and is accurate. Every kitchen should have one of these! I highly recommend!

Bought to use for our pellet smoker. Works well so far. Small enough to store away in drawer and it folds at the probe. Digital reading. So far so good! Affordable too!

Cheap but effective. It's within a degree of my existing instant read thermometer so accuracy is definitely good enough for the average home cook. The hold function is something I don't think I have a need for but some people may appreciate it.
