Après moins de 2 mois d’utilisation (31 hrs de fonctionnement) il a eu une infiltration d’eau et il ne fonctionne plus. Il n’est pas suffisamment étanche pour l’humidité de l’environnement d’une motoneige. Malheureusement la date limite de retour a expiré 2 jours trop tôt. Je ne recommande pas cet article.

It works amazingly for hr/meter and tach. Easy to install. For all the other functions it’s a bit complicated so I don’t even mess with them but other than that it’s great.

I installed this on a large Honda V twin motorcycle VTX 1800. Originally the unit would continuously restart. the problem turned out to be the inductive wire that you wrap around the spark plug wire was wrapped more than the recommended 3-5 turns. I had a little extra so I went around about 10 wraps which is too much. Apparrently this sends a higher than needed voltage to the unit and disrupts the electronics. changed it back to 5 wraps and it works flawless. I also changed the RPM sensing time from .5 seconds to 1 second and it reads smoother. Does not seem too waterproof but for the money, you cant beat it. I'll reveiw itafter the first drenching.EDIT: Went on a 1000 mi. Trip and it worked flawlessly. When the motor is not running, it returns to the hour meter readout.

If your wondering if this tool will tell you rpm’s on a small engine, take it from me, out of the box,pull the battery isolator from between battery and contact, set the tool to appropriate engine category, wrap the wire a couple times around ignition wire…boom…that simple

Easy to install but the sunlight will make the display go wonky. I don’t use it at night so there’s that.

Attached this to my brand new mower before use. Was easy to install and used 2 side tape to attach. Seems to keep accurate run time and rpm.
