I was assured that lugs for 4/0 AWG cables would fit but they do not. Given the amps and voltage this is being used for that makes this breaker totally worthless.

Sometimes, just sometimes your brain goes to sleep at the wrong time. You might switch the polarity of a 48vdc circuit through your breaker then throw the switch. Ask me how I know this. :) Blew this pretty little breaker to smithereens and let out every bit of the smoke. But, heck of a test but the breaker passed and saved my dumb a....... from big problems.I'm here buying an exact replacement because of it. Good stuff in my book.

For a circuit breaker I expected the common one for home use, what I received was built to do the job but extremely well made. I'm very happy with this circuit breaker. For what I need I feel it will provide the protection for the Solar battery's and my solar system better than the ones I'm use to buying.
