This painting had terrible paint in it. Some colors were very ruunny and others were thick and old. I have purchased over 50 sets and this one is by far the worst.

My 8 year old daughter decided to challenge herself with this painting for a rodeo art submission. She put many hours every day into completing it. Some spots were large, others were so tiny it made it difficult to paint using the single brush that the kit came with. Be aware that not all of the spots are directly coordinated to a given color. The numbers go with the paint the kit comes with, however, the letters require you to mix colors together using a key. Some paint was so thin, you could see the number through it no matter how many coats you did. Then on the other hand, there was paint so thick and clumpy it was difficult for her to work with. The paint dried very fast, which was great. It does come on a canvas which made it so much easier for her to paint on versus rolled up paper. Overall, a beautiful painting that helped her receive “Most Outstanding” in her age division. I just wish the quality of the paint was better and some of the spots were more consolidated instead of having little tiny, tedious spots that seem pointless.

I liked this one. It’s on thick cardboard. I did have to mix paints with this one and they were a little runny. Chart let’s you know which paints to mix for what letter. It was different.

This was a fun paint by numbers. Did this for a friend of mine and I think she’ll really like it. I’ve done others but I think this is also a good one to start out with if you’re new to paint by numbers.

This has been such a fun project. I'm not a huge fan of mixing paints because I never seem to be able to get the colors to blend perfect, but I love it anyway. And it comes on a nice, sturdy board. I had to go over things a few times, so i'm worried about running out of paint, but i have plenty of paint at home, so no big deal. This would be perfect to give as a gift, or a great project for art therapy.

This one was a challenge but it turned out beautiful! I change up the color so it's more personalized. Very fun and helps with anxiety. This activity is great for refocusing the mind!

My roommate and I ordered some paint by numbers kits to have a wine and painting party. This painting is good for adults and teens, but I wouldn't recommend it for children because of the small detail and mixing needed. The paints that come in the kit are very watery. The numbers on the canvas board show through the first coat of paint. They do provide larger paint pots, so you will have enough paint to complete the entire painting with multiple coats and then some. The kit does not come with all of the colors needed in the painting, but does have a chart that tells you which colors to mix.
