The colors are vibrant, the instructions are clear, the kit is fun to make and the end result is adorable. The thread quality is very good. The size is perfect for the tree - not too big, but big enough to see it. Value is good.

The needle that was included was corroded and unusable, but I usually don’t use the included needle. The thread was very good and the directions were clear.

I have never done cross stitch on a hard plastic canvas, but saying that, I had a fun learning curve. Figured it out better on the second ornament. I did cut it out too close on the first one, but Arlenes craft glue fixed that. If you glue felt on the back with the hanging thread underneath, so cute! I bought several different colors of felt to glue on each one I finished.

This project is suitable for beginners as it has a limited number of cottens and is easy to complete. For the advanced stitcher it leaves great scope to add your own extras.

I’m no novice when it comes to cross stitching but the dimensions ornaments kits were a first for me. I had yet to make ornaments and these kits looked like the ticket. I wasn’t wrong! I’m in love with all of these adorable ornaments and I can wait to gift them this Christmas. I’ve bought just about every single one Dimensions makes in the single packaging. Price seems right for everything you need to complete the ornament. Working with the plastic aida, I guess you’d call it that, was pretty great. No hoops or frames required so the projects go pretty quickly. This particular one took me 3 days to complete. The gingerbread took me 4. The sleigh was also 4. Still have 4 others to complete but with a 3-4 day turn around, I’ll be done well before Christmas. I believe these would be really great for beginners, not too many transitions and literally everything you need comes with the kit.

Who doesn't love Santa and a cute little cross stitch project!? This ornament is easy to stitch on the provided plastic canvas, the floss supply is more than adequate, and it arrives already separated and marked for you! There is even a needle supplied, the chart is easy to read, all you have to do is count and stitch!Since it is small, plastic canvas and no hoop is used, this makes it even easier to crab this little kit and take it along with you and stitch during breaks at work, while waiting at doctor's appointments, etc.

i know that fewer colors makes the kits cheaper to make, but the presents don't really "pop" with the way that the kit has the colors laid out. I used some of the extra floss to make the present on the right stand out more; you can see a picture of my ornament below. Besides the lack on contrast though, the kit was easy to complete and not too complex. A beginner could do this kit easily, though it will take a number of hours I spent about 4 afternoons on this particular ornament.

Beautiful design but in 30 years of cross stitching, I have never had such difficulty with thread. The thread constantly knotted and tore. I've made 9 ornaments from this company / designer and ran out of certain colors a couple of times due to this problem. Fortunately, I could pull excess thread from one of the other sets. Just something to keep in mind.
