I bought this dish to use while RV'ing. It is more difficult to set up than my old 18" round dish that didn't care much about being level. This dish only found a signal when it was perfectly level. But once it was level, it was very quick to set the elevation, azimuth and tilt and the picture came in perfectly. Would buy again.

Came sooner than estimated by Amazon. One of the edges of the bracket that bolts to the dish was bent and had to be fixed in order to install to dish, but was able to bend it back and make it work. Also the insignia on the dish does not look like the picture, which is fine with me but may not be to someone else. Otherwise the equipment was exactly what I wanted/ needed and works perfectly.

For those of us that have had Direct TV for 15+ years and love it, this is the most difficult dish to get installed that I've ever seen. It may be our fault because we mistakenly thought we needed the pigtail piece that we've been using with other receivers. That said, the instructions and tech support are HORRIBLE. I asked a question and got a response with an attached manual but it didn't give good instructions and when I tried to call the # they provided for tech support I couldn't reach anyone and couldn't leave a message. I do like the ability to only have one coax line coming in from the dish though.

Took a little time to set up and 'aim' correctly (used as a mobile dish with an RV) - but once set up we had signal strengths as good as - or better then - our fixed home system. An excellent product at a very reasonable price; and the shipping time was outstanding!

I bought this dish for camping and it works great. As part of my testing process, I replaced my five-LNB at home with the one that came with this system. I worked with all of my receivers (I have an H-25 HD DVR and two H-24 HD receivers), also picked up all the channels that I subscribe to including the local channels.I haven't had an occasion to use the splitter that comes with the dish other than to test it. It is not necessary if you are only using a single receiver.Assembly is fairly straight forward. Most of the hardware will only go where it is intended. The dish has fine-tuning capability for the azimuth and elevation settings, but I was able to get a good signal by just using the coarse adjustments.It is fairly large, but easily disassembled for portability.I definitely would not hesitate to recommend it.

I can't review something as standard yet proprietary as a DirecTV dish since, as long as it's installed correctly, it will work perfectly (and thus, everyone will have the same results).I bought mine from Adri Electronics (through Amazon, of course), and they sent everything I needed (LNB, splitter, and power injector) and packaged it very well. Installation went without a hitch, and the price was great, so I couldn't be happier.I didn't need the roof stub mount since I already had an appropriate mounting solution ready. Just make sure that if you intend to mount this to something other than the included mount, to use 2" OD pipe (EMT and fence post will not work, since the actual outside diameter isn't exactly 2"). I've heard that you can get exhaust pipe from a muffler shop that's exactly 2" OD, but that it can be thin, so you wouldn't want to use long lengths of it.

Not hard to install, good quality product. You must use a reliable compass, because the compass is magnetic, you can't get too close to the dish, you will get wrong readings. When aligning I used dishpointer.com , you get accured angles.
