The beds were easy to assemble, for the most part. I watched the provided video which was very helpful. My grandkids slept comfortably and well on this bunk setup. The straps provided gave it the stability to make it safe. All parts were very sturdy, and the carrying bag is very well designed to securely hold all the pieces. My reasoning for the 4 stars is that when assembling the 3 pipes that provide the side rails, the middle pipe easily disengages with the end pipes. Next time I will duct tape at least one to the other. It was repeatedly frustrating to slide the pipes into the side of the cot canvas and have it disconnect from one end or the other. Also, in the bunked configuration you cannot use camp cot fitted sheets, so a sleeping bag might be required. Given those two shortcomings, I would still highly recommend this product as a safe, reliable, and space saving option for two kids in camping or sleepover situations. My grandkids loved the setup, and helped take down and store the cots.

I've been impressed with this portable double bunk cot. We put it up when my son's family is over and the kids love it. You do, however, have to make sure they're old enough to not fall out of the top bunk...though because the beds are cots it's a bit harder to fall out anyway. It also has some storage areas that hang off the side of each rack so kids can store books, a tablet or whatever. It's sturdy and comes apart to be stored into a bag. Would buy it again.

We bought these for our grandkids when they sleep over. We have a small house and these fit right in, not too big. The kids thought they were comfortable and enjoyed sleeping in a bed instead of on the floor.

I needed a way to make our family.camping trips more comfortable for my daughter and wife. Anything to get them more into the great outdoors! These bunk bed cots are perfect.Assembly is really simple with easy to follow instructions. The quality of the materials used in the construction of this product seems top tier.My daughter loves it and wanted to sleep on the top bunk the very first night we recieved the product from Amazon.Im sure we will get a lot of use out of these. They could even come in handy in hotel situations as well.

Great product. Perfect for kids. Their own space unique for their size. I do recommend purchasing the nonslip foot pads also (I’m glad I did) for peace of mind for stabilizing the base no matter the floor type. We used this indoors on both hard wood and carpeted floors (with the nonslip foot pads) without issue. Got them for when my nieces and nephews visit instead of an air mattress on the floor. This got them off the floor and in their own space. Easy to put together; assume it gets even easier with more use. Kids (age 7 and 5) enjoyed them and slept without issue. With kid’s weight cots end up more hammock-like which was cozy/comfy for them. We had no issues with rolling out and kids said they loved them and slept great. All they needed was a throw-sized blanket as cover for each cot and they were good to go. Will see us using them many more times when we have kids visiting with family or friends.

**October 16th/23. Update. My bunk beds are still in good working order. We have used them frequently for sleepovers and for camping. I have had a lot of people eyeing them up especially when they are in bunk bed form. This feature comes in very handy. I still recommend these.I really like this product. I have had it for a month as I am done with inflatable products as they don't last. As soon as I got these bunk beds, I built them and set them up quite easily. My kids slept in them right away and insisted sleeping them in for the next few nights. Easy to take down and maneouver.I have gone camping several times with them now and I love that I can store stuff underneath them, and that they have the organization on the side of them. Helps keep items handy such as their water bottle. I have already put them through the washer as they got soiled. No concerns.My kids are quite young so they have been a bit rough with them, and they still are holding up well.Again, I am very happy with this purchase, it was hard to overcome the price but I think it is well worth it.Once I build them again, I will take pictures and post them as I find this very helpful when purchasing items of the internet.
Never Too Old To Learn

We bought this for our grandsons, aged 5 and 7, to sleep on when visiting us. I am 70 years old, and it takes me about an hour, working slowly, to put this together or take it apart. The beds are very comfortable and sturdy. I decided to put a cheap foam mattress topper on each cot with a summer sleeping bag (Coleman Kids 50 Sleeping Bag). So, it all comes apart and fits into 2 bags, neatly and not too heavy. I took a marker and wrote Top on the one bag, and Bottom on the other bag, so that I will know which bag to put together first. The cots can be used separately (not together as bunk beds), if you have the space. But it's really cool and special as bunk beds. I'm so glad I got this, it worked so well! I highly recommend this.

Sturdy and doesn't creek. Only downside is the the cost but I use this for weekends I have the kids, so I was prepared to pay the extra for something quality. I wasn't disappointed and it will get plenty of use.

Last summer, my family and went on a cross-country (okay, TWO countries) road trip with our kids, including several days camping, but also some hotel stays. I was looking for cots or beds we could use in our tent, and also if the hotel bed-sharing wasn't working for our 8 and 6 year olds. I originally was shocked at the price and couldn't decide if I could justify the purchase, but these are SO WORTH IT! They came quickly, assemble easily, and can be used, as you probably know, as both bunk beds and separate cots. I especially like the storage pockets for water bottles and books or toys. Since our trip, our kids have asked to set them up in their rooms to have sleep overs, and we've also lent them to friends who have enjoyed how easy they are to set up and take down. I would highly recommend these for easy of use, value for money and durability.

UPDATE BELOW: We purchased these for our grandsons visit (5 and 8) - they are terrific. Fairly easy to put together - no tools necessary as they snap together with pop in nibs - would be easier with two people - but I managed to put them together by myself (I'm 58 and not super athletic). Once together, they feel very sturdy. They are the perfect size for our little guys and will be for several years. They have wonderful cloth bags with zippers and elastic bands to secure the pipes and pieces securely. The bags have heavy duty handles. They are fairly heavy - but the bags and handles make it easier to lift and move them. We chose the turquoise - very nice and true turquoise. The side organizers are just wonderful and I think the boys are going to love those too - they will hold the tablets, books, a small night light and other things nicely. I honestly think these are one of our best investments in a while. Having said all of that.. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.UPDATE: 7/3/2019.... I continue to LOVE these bunks. I just disassembled the bunk setup - for the first time. I had taken a picture of the pieces in the cases to help me. Took me less than 20 minutes! By myself. It was so easy. And the zippered canvas case/bags are the bomb. So So So easy to store. I am super impressed. The boys, 5 and 8, loved them. They were very comfortable and loved the side organizer attachable strips. These are a bit spendy. But I can see how we can use these for several years. The quality is top notch. I am just really happy with our purchase.
