what can I say. I'm not a QC expert who has analyzed left over residue or anything like that. I have been fighting my dishwasher to keep it working. The primary problem I see is "rocks" clogging the spray holes that I have to dig out about once every two years. I've been using this cleaner for about a half year and haven't had any rocks. Time will tell.

Switched from Affresh dishwasher tablets to Ortube and for me they are a significant improvement over the Affresh brand I was using. Considerably more cost effective than Affresh and at the price point viable as a weekly use product.

So many people fail to clean the things they clean with including their washer and dishwasher. Food gets trapped, lime scale builds up, etc. I regularly clean my dishwasher by hand. So I was excited to see these and very hopeful that it would remove lime buildup and freshen the dishwasher without me having to do too much work. Well I'm here to say, I didn't see much difference before and after. Keep in mind, I regularly clean mine. It's entirely possible you don't so you might see an improvement. I noticed the lime buildup on some areas wasn't reduced much if at all. But I don't have a lot of it and some things never come off. I probably will continue to toss these in periodically but I really feel like they may not have done much. I wish their scent was stronger. Also your dishwasher has to be totally empty. So you may find this difficult to do. We actually store a few things in the dishwasher and had to put this stuff out on the counter while we ran it with this cleaner.
