My local water mitigation pros used this when spraying after a hurricane allowed rain into my walls. It doesn't have a strong or nauseating odor like some sprays do, and it worked well in a naturally humid environment. I'll definitely keep it on hand for keeping mold and bacteria out of materials that have taken on water.

I have used Microban/Mediclean for years. When I worked for a flood damage restoration company, we used it quite regularly. This industrial strength product wipes out just about everything of that you may come in contact.CAUTION: As with all cleaning/sanitizing products, READ and UNDERSTAND the instructions and follow them. I have been on 5 safety committees and this step of following instructions was typically missed.

This stuff actually works (compared to many other products on here that do not work). It produces a strong odor that is so strong you can smell it even through a full respirator, so be very careful and also wear googles, gloves, a full body disposable suit, etc. so you don't get any on your skin. Part of my face was exposed to it and it turned bright red for a while.I used it in an a diffuser device for the whole room, and I also used it in a small pump sprayer directly on problem areas. In both cases it worked great.The strong smell goes away in a few hours, and a faint smell sticks around for a few days.
