Tip very sharp but metal is very soft so it dulls easily. Using as a cigar pin so not an issue. Rating 3 stars because it will not likely remain sharp if used as a tool. Perhaps that’s why you need to buy a package . But for the price , one cannot expect it to be surgical tool quality. More than sufficient for poking soft items.
